Mid-Side EQ - Kevin Salter

Being able to independently apply equalization to the middle and side of the stereo field is so powerful to fight masking, and especially for letting the vocals have their own space and sit up front.

Young Guru uses the Waves F6 here to wrap the sample around the vocals.

I also like to use TrackSpacer on the Instruments bus in mid-side mode, and the vocals side-chained.
